For its credit card users, the State Bank of India (SBI) has made major changes that will come into effect from December 1, 2024

As per new rules, no reward points will be given on transactions with digital gaming merchants for 48 credit cards.

A 1% surcharge will be applicable to utility bill payments exceeding Rs. 50,000 per statement cycle effective from November 1.2024

The revised interest rate of 3.75% will be applied as a finance charge for unsecured credit cards excluding Shaurya/Defence cards.
